Yum! Sushi!

Here we are eating some sushi that Jessica and Natalya's mum made to raise money for Japan. We could choose between chicken, prawn, salmon or vegetable. As you can see we really enjoyed it.

Mufti Day for Japan

Today we had a red and white mufti day to raise money for the people of Japan. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult and challenging time. Thank you for your contributions.

Rainbow Fish

We have read the story 'The Rainbow Fish' in class. We have used this story to create an underwater picture of the Rainbow Fish.

First we drew seaweed onto a white piece of paper and then we dyed the paper blue.

Next we cut out a fish template and painted the head, fins and tail of the fish.

After that, we cut out colourful scales and glued them onto our fish. We couldn't forget those shiny silver scales that Rainbow Fish shared with his friends.

Finally we glued our fish onto the underwater background.

Our pictures will be displayed in the office from the 9th of April and in the corridor outside our classroom.

Mercy Charism

This week we have been lucky enough to have a member of our class awarded the Mercy Charism cross.

During the week anyone that is demonstrating qualities from our Mercy Charism is given a token to put into the Mercy Charism box.

Each week a name is drawn out of the special wooden box made by Alex and Annie Armstrong's dad. The cross remains in the class of the child it is awarded to until the next assembly.

Our Mercy Charism qualities are:
  • Being Fair and Just
  • Caring for others
  • Trust in God
  • Welcoming
  • Serving others
  • Love and Compassion
